This year I had the opportunity to present in the WestCast Conference with the focus on “Modeling Indigenous Teachings to Teachers” with my faculty mentor and Professor Roxane Letterlugh. After presenting, and hearing all the great feedback I’ve had this drive to continue on this journey to Decolonizing Education. I first started on this journey of research and sharing my knowledge when I started the Bachelor of Education Program in September 2019. A lot of the things I have been doing has taken me out of my comfort zone but nonetheless I have quite enjoyed the experience so far, especially being able to present as a Teacher Candidate to seasoned teachers.
